Review:
Based
on the match day 1 results, Brazil will require to win rest two matches to
ensure their progress to knockout stages. Serbia on the other hand will face
Switzerland in match day 2 and Brazil in match day 3 needs to ensure it doesn’t
lose both. For Switzerland and Costa Rica, situation is how both ensure no loss
and try to sneak past Serbia and Brazil will be interesting to see.

Mexico vs Germany: 1-0
Biggest
shock of the world cup has been this match. Almost throughout the match Germany
was caught sleeping by Mexico. Kimmich flank was almost every single time out
flanked by Mexican Players. At 35th minute Hernandez assists and
Lozano scores for Mexico making it 1-0. Minutes later Draxler and Kroos try to
counter attack but thwarted by Mexicans. Despite a goal down, Kimmich flank was
unguarded in second half and there seemed nothing learnt from first goal.
Except Boateng German Defense is completely in shambles and he is being tested
minute after Minute. Throughout the match German Midfield was caught sleeping
with losing possession every now and then which led to no credible chances
being created. At the end the score line remained 1-0 in favor of Mexicans.

Lozano – 35’
Bookings:
Herrera (MEX) – Yellow
Hummels (GER) – Yellow
Mueller (GER) – Yellow
Moreno (MEX) – Yellow

beat the goalkeeper in two occasions. First Half score remained 0-0 with
Koreans attacking maximum times. At 64th minute Sweden is awarded a
penalty through Video Replay and granquist steps to score and make it 1-0 in
favor of Sweden. In the entire second half post the goal, Sweden goes into
defensive mode and Korea tries hard to score but no luck. In 90th

Review:
Seems
it was a Very disappointing game for Germany and fantastic game for Mexico.
Sweden on the other hand as picked up valuable 3 points. With regards to this
group Match day 2 will likely decide the teams for the Knock out stages.
Germany and South Korea has to win both their matches to make it to Knock out
but for Sweden and Mexico, they are just a win away from Knockout stages. Germany known for their tournament capabilities
seems to be absent and that should worry Team management and fans enough, by
the way congratulations to Rafael Marquez for playing his 5th world
cup for Mexico and highest in the world.
