Much awaited event is going to start on 23rd July ( less than 48 hours) from now and India is sending 120 Athletes in 18 sports covering 74 events. Based on the review of the contingent we look stronger this time and have real medal prospects in 8 Sports. Deeper look on each contingent brings out the fact that this Olympics is likely to be a break out Olympics for Indian Sports.

We have 17 Events where Medals can be certainly won and Even if we achieve 50% of the target this would by far be an biggest achievements ever. 6 Medals (2012 Olympics) is the highest number we won so far and even with an optimistic lens i can see that we will surpass that number this time.
